This is a world of dreams and reverie, where I felt the stars explode around me. A grass blade flashed with a gleam as it slashed open a moonbeam, and I stared back breathlessly. As mountains of fruit tumbled out, I barely had the chance to shout; a lingonberry avalanche crashed over me.

What can I say?
The BeiJing Olympics 2008 Closing Ceremony was amazing!

Fantastic choreography by Zhang Yi Mou, glittering effects and displays, stunning fireworks, lots&lots&lots of people involved. An extremely grand performance, in a nutshell.
Plus, there was Jacky Chan, Joey Yung, Karen Mok, Wang Lee Hom, Andy Lau, Kelly Chen, and Song Zu Ying. Oh, and did I mention, Rain?
Words cannot do justice to the entire spectacle. :D

I absolutely loved it; it's times like these when I'm truly proud to be chinese.

PS. Becks, what did you think you were doing? Turning up for the bball finals was funny, okay, but what was the whole deal with popping up from the red bus and kicking a soccer ball into the crowd? I mean, that's what you flew 12 hours across the globe for, to kick a ball around?
