This is a world of dreams and reverie, where I felt the stars explode around me. A grass blade flashed with a gleam as it slashed open a moonbeam, and I stared back breathlessly. As mountains of fruit tumbled out, I barely had the chance to shout; a lingonberry avalanche crashed over me.

PEOPLE, I AM DOWN WITH FLU.

Please not H1N1, please not H1N1, please not H1N1! D:
I'm actually freaked. As much as I whine about life, I really don't think I'm ready to die yet okay. Please not H1N1.

I keep sneezing those massive ones that propel you forward and make you feel like you'd ejected a bit of your brain out through your nose. Not cool. And I can accurately predict that if this keeps up, my nose shall be rubbed raw by the end of tomorrow, and starting to peel the day after. Help!

On an equally gaah note,
OH ONDUBU.
Please don't make me cry any more. I swear down I have enough on my plate without you collapsing all over the place and giving me near breakdowns. First the hurting of your leg during the perf, and then the falling lights. What is it with you and accidents really? If your Onew-sangtae is going to get you hurt like this, I'd rather you werent so hopelessly adorable.
(Also, it pained me that the Almighty Key was nowhere near Dubu when he fainted. Key-umma, take care of your husband! :S)

I've been looking forward to the latest remake of Alice In Wonderland ever since I heard about it early this year. Depp and Burton are already the dream team in themselves, and with Carroll in the equation, it can only be more spectacular. I can anticipate some awesome entertainment that is just as weird and disturbing as Carroll had intended his story to be.

On an equally odd note, I find myself really intrigued by Isla de las Muñecas (Doll Island) in Xochimilco, Mexico. Seriously, an island filled with 50 years' worth of dolls in varying states of decay meant to appease the spirit of a drowned girl. So bizarre, but it's interesting in a morbid way.

However, this is night in the UK now and them pictures are seriously too freaky to search and post because it would mean I'd have to stare at the doll corpses for more than five minutes. I dont want to give myself insomnia, thankyouverymuch, so pictures shall be edited into this post tomorrow when it's not pitch black outside the window behind me, heh.

I'm in a happy mood right now, thank you cherries I love you so much. We've run out though; I desperately need to go to Aldi to grab what's left of their stock.

So I've been sitting around reading William Blake (Songs of Innocence and of Experience) which honestly isnt as naff as it sounds, eating cherries, and putting off uploading promised stuff onto Facebook.
I was going through B's archives just now for old times' sake, and it turns out I was mentioned a couple times. I'm well chuffed HAHAHAAA!

Also, I went to Havant town with Tommy & Hannah-rose during our free to shop and I bought a pair of heels from New Look. I love them, they're well gorgeous and originally cost £30 but were on sale so I got them for only 10 quid and it didn't even matter that I couldn't use my student discount. New gladiator wedges I love you I love youuuuu:
And also a pair of tights for one fucking quid, how much more value for money can you get, I've wanted tights like those ones since forever.
Okay, I think I'm going back tomorrow to bust my plastic some more.

As a side note, my plot bunnies have come back methinks. I should probably get round to writing stuff down asap because hey, who knows when they'll disappear again huh.

I just scrolled down to my HK spazz post, thought about how Jaye must be enjoying himself immensely there right now, and instantly felt very sorry for myself.

Here, this about summarises my emotions right now:

I've just finished watching the 120th episode of Star King.

It was so amazing, and not only because SHINee, Super Junior and 2PM were there altogether. Heheh. The people who went on were so sick; its awesome!

A Japanese boy whose hands are practically musical instruments, a Spanish (?) flamenco/tap dance troupe, a bubblegum-chewing kissy monkey who can play Go Stop, an A capella quartet extremely talented at making devastated faces and imitating other singers, a geek capable of carrying about 100kg full of tables laden with the typical Korean feast (ie. 20 or more dishes, drinks, stoves, pots, cutlery etc.) single-handedly, a cross-dressing boy who smexy dances to traditional Korean songs including the title track of Daejanggeum (Onara), a bunch of Super Junior impersonators consisting of office dudes averaging 40 years of age, and two cute schoolboys with breath-taking Speedcup skills.
And all the while the great Kang Ho Dong along with the other guests interrupt with their own outrageous antics. Lee Teuk was amazingly entertaining of course, the guy is such a joy to watch.

Click for first part :D

Also, here's a bonus vid. Heechul & his narcissism:

I dont actually know why I keep blogging today. It must be the boredom.
OH BTW, TANJOUBI OMEDETOU, SARINA-CHAN!

AT 6:02 pm

I'm not even kidding when I say that I'll probaby move back to Asia when all this education bullshit is over. You know how some people (like my mum and sister?) say they prefer nature and small towns better, well I'm not one of them. Sure, I love my trips to Bintan and Langkawi and Tioman etc., but after a while I get bored and turn back to the neon lights and skyscrapers.
Definitely a city girl at heart, born and bred.

We went to the newly opened Ikea in Southampton yesterday again for a family outing because the day before was my mum's birthday but my dad had work so we waited till his off days.
(Happy birthday mummy!)

I LOVE CITIES.
Seriously, I was getting a little pissy because I had a slight headache and was in charge of the map-reading and it was fucking stressful work (thank god we got a TomTom today), but the minute we went over the highest point of Itchen Bridge and the city view hit me, I cheered up to no end. I was all, "OMG crowds, tall buildings, traffic jams, air pollution, LOVE YOU LOVE YOUUUU!"

So I was going through one of my friend's latest albums on Facebook just now, containing some pictures of her strolling through a mall (which I fucking recognised out of the how many hundreds of malls in the damn country) and I just wanted so badly to be back there right now. As far as city life goes, I highly doubt if it could get much better than in Hong Kong. Unless maybe...Tokyo, which has a completely different style anyway.

HONG KONG IS SO AMAZING.

HONG KONG, I LOVE YOU HONG KONG!

Okay, guess what, I'm done spazzing now.

Can I just say that lately I've been losing sleep because of you.

Nobody falls in love by choice; it is by chance. Nobody stays in love by chance; it is by work. Nobody falls out of love by chance; it is by choice.

Well, this is out of my hands. Damn my chances.

I cannot emphasise to the full extent how much I detest headaches. So I shall have to settle for clutching my throbbing temples and groaning about it every two minutes until it stops.

And how come paracetamol doesn't seem to have any effect? I haven't abused that drug too much have I?
Shit.

Once again, I'm back to shamelessly plug Kpop related vids. *hides*
Wait, no! Watch first before you complain!

Heh. Did dork!Rain make up for my fail?

Okay, now for a short update:
  1. MY AS EXAMS HAVE FINISHED, HALLELUJAH! :D:D
  2. I completed my first ever pure angst fic (Big Bang of course) two days ago. It's gold, I swear down, and apparently people like it. Heh
  3. My fic request over in my LJ is still open, yo. The first 5 cut has yet to be filled. (Jackie, want a fic?)
  4. Wish me luck, I am seriously doing some job hunting now. Mostly because I see nice stuff but don't have enough to splurge and its annoying me. HAHAA
  5. The great debate: iPhone or Blackberry? Discuss.
